Agreements at the School
We have three such agreements with Elsevier et Wiley, et Springer, the latter coming into force on 1 January 2025.
For these three agreements, the library has prepaid for open access publication without embargo on the publishers' website. Publications are open free of charge by default; authors can say no, but there's no real reason to refuse the option.
Open access publication in the journals of these three publishers meets the requirements of funding agencies such as the ANR or Europe which are :
- make your article available in open access as soon as it is published, without embargo
- not pay to publish in open access journals hybrid magazines - which you have to subscribe to afterwards anyway - because here the agreement includes both publication and reading.
